WE ARE ALL MAD HERE...

Dear Winter, don't go just yet...

(hot chocolate and milk cream at Trocadero, Paris, 2008)

...said the Cat.
Yes, yes, on a previous post she craved for spring.
But now that she comes to think of it, she's not ready yet to say goodbye to a few of her favorite winter things.

Like her Mom's feather's coat, that brings back memories from Bologna (really cold there, so the Cat finally had to be persuaded to wear it!)

(No, that is not Bologna, it's Marina Zeas, Piraeus. Feather's coat, Mango. Dress, tights, shoes, Asos. Leopard print top, Swap Not Shop Party No3)

Or the Cat's favorite beannie and the coat that (she thinks) goes with everything!

(yes, the Cat realises she looks like a smurf here, thanks. White beannie, a gift. Coat, Primark.Mustard jacket, H&M. Dress, vintage. Chandelier earrings, Achilleas Accessories.Ring, Accessorize)

Or the colourfull tights the Cat still sees everywhere

(the Cat's dearest co-worker Vicki. Love her retro yet dynamic colour choices!)

(ok, this is actually a spring dress. But doesn't it look way more elegant with some grey tights? Dress, Mango. Tights and beannie, you know. Shoes, Faith)

Or the certainty of black tights, that give you the freedom of styling them in many ways

(take Jenny's ladylike outfit, for example. Jenny is our Fashion Director and proud mom of two!)

(or the Cat's girlie one. Grey shorts, H&M. top, no idea. Old top cut and worn as a cardigan, no idea. Earrings, a gift. Tights, Asos. Ballerina flats, Melissa)

Plus, when the no-tights season is officially on... the Cat must run to the gym!!!

What will YOU miss the most about winter?

(grey sweater, a gift. Ring and earrings, Accessorize. Christmas lights and cup, Covent Garden, London 2010)

  1. I don't like to freeze but I really really hate getting dripping wet in the summer.... unless it is with seawater.

  2. Oh, I will miss too many things! Tights, cardis, scarves... Even though I do wear my skinniest scarves in summer too and lately I have been thinking of the layering possibilities of cotton short-sleeved cardis, so we'll see how the transition goes.

  3. @cupcakes ah, seawater... I always think of Vivari when I think of summer
@lopi Where would we be without cardis, I ask you? I have a few short- sleeved myself, I bet they will serve over strapless or spaggeti strap dresses!

  6. @mairyliscious @chichipiru Well, ok, summer does sound fun:p
What I honestly want though, is a new summer wardrobe (nothing with cycling shorts, thanks!)Perhaps a few floral shorts and playsuits...
